BFF Official Rules

How to Enter:  To enter, go to www.welovefishtacos.com/bff and fill out every required field in the entry form.  Each entry is to include a photo of you and your best friend and a description of why you want to stay connected forever with your BFF, using 150 words or less. Entries must be a maximum size of ten (10) megabytes to be eligible and completed in full to be valid. Limit of one daily entry per person per twenty-four (24) hour period, provided that entrants may earn up to five (5) additional chances to win by recommending the BFF Sweepstakes to friends. For each email address of friends that the entrant provides to Sponsors, the entrant will receive an additional chance to win (up to five additional chances). Each entry must be received by no later than May 5, 2011, 9:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time.  Any entry received after the Sweepstakes period is void and ineligible for selection for a prize(s).  The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any winner whose winning entry appears to Sponsors to have been the result of mechanical reproduction or has entered via an automated online entry mechanism. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not provide valid information in every entry field of entry form. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned. Entries (including without limitation all pictures and stories submitted with the entries) must be the original work of the entrant and must not have been previously published elsewhere or entered in another contest. By entering this Sweepstakes you agree that each entry does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. All entries and rights to entries, regardless of whether they are selected winners, including but not limited to copyright and ownership, become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned. Sponsors shall have the right to use, reproduce, photograph for publication, alter, license, transfer or modify any entry for any purpose. Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by these rules and permission to use your name and likeness, in addition to your photograph and story for publicity purposes without further compensation. 

 

Prizes: Sweepstakes Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: Two (2) Home Theater Systems (each system to include Skype Service, one (1) 50” Panasonic Internet-Connected High Definition TV, Blu-Ray, and Surround Sound System) (Total Approximate Retail Value $4,000.00) to be drawn on or about May 5, 2011. One Hundred (100) First Prize Winners of Two (2) Gorton’s & Ortega BFF T-shirts (Approximate Retail Value: $40 ) (ARV per t-shirt $20.00) to be drawn on or about May 5, 2011.  Twenty Five (25) Daily Prize Winners: One (1) Daily Prize winner of Two (2) Gorton’s & Ortega BFF T-shirts (ARV: $40) (ARV per t-shirt $20.00) to be drawn on the weekdays (Monday- Friday) between April 1st, 2011 to May 5, 2011.

 

Eligibility: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the United States.  Employees of the Sponsors, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same household of such employees are ineligible. This offer is void wherever prohibited, and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by and comply with these official rules.  Sponsors may report, as required by applicable statute or regulation, the value of the prize and the identity of the winner to appropriate taxing authorities.  ALL TAXES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS.

 

Winner Selection: Every entrant who enters the Sweepstakes from March  11, 2011 to May 5, 2011 9:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time, is automatically entered in the (i) Grand Prize drawing; (ii) First Place drawing; and (iii) Daily Prize drawings.  Winners will be selected from valid entries received during the Sweepstakes period.

 

One (1) Grand Prize winner and One Hundred (100) First Prize Winners will be selected via random drawing on or about May 5, 2011.  One (1) Daily Prize winner will be selected daily via random drawings from April 1, 2011 through May 5, 2011. 

 

All decisions of the Sponsors are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of entries received.  The winners will be notified by email.  Prizes will be mailed within eight (8) weeks of the Sweepstakes ending.

 

Prize Restrictions: No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at sole discretion of Sponsors. In the event of unavailability, Sponsors may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  By accepting a prize the winner agrees to the release of his or her name and/or likeness for potential publicity purposes, where permitted by law. 

 

Release/Limitation of Liability: Neither Sponsors nor the prize suppliers are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail.  By participating in this Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, winner agrees that Sponsors, and their respective affiliates, agents and promotion agencies shall not be liable for any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from the winner’s participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse, of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, privacy or defamation.  Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or otherwise violates any of the rules of the Sweepstakes.  

 

The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity, in a form as provided to Grand Prize winner, before such Prize will be awarded.  Winner will be required to return documents within fourteen (14) days from the date of the prize notification email.  Failure to comply with this requirement or return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of Grand Prize.

Privacy Policies:  Sponsors will be collecting personal data about entrants in accordance with their respective privacy policies. The privacy policies applicable to this Sweepstakes can be found at http://www.gortons.com/privacy_policy.htm and http://www.ortega.com/privacy/.  By participating in this Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Sponsors’ collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsors’ privacy policies.  If you do not wish to receive future promotional opportunities from the Sponsors, please write to the Sponsors at the addresses listed below.
