Crunchy Fish Tacos

Gorton’s Breaded Fish Sticks and Ortega Yellow Corn Taco Shells

  • 1 package of GORTON'S® Fish Sticks (11.4 oz) or GORTON'S® Tenders (10.6 oz)
  • 1 package (12 ct) ORTEGA® Yellow Corn Taco Shells, warmed

Garnish Suggestions:

  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese
  • ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce
  • ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles

Optional Sour Cream Mix:

  • 1 package (1 ¼-oz) ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Prepare GORTON’S® Seafood according to package directions.

While GORTON’S® Seafood is cooking, prepare suggested toppings.

Place toppings in individual bowls.

Prepare optional sour cream mixture by combining sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro and 2 tablespoons of ORTEGA® taco seasoning mix in small bowl. Mix well and place in individual bowl.

Warm ORTEGA® taco shells or tortillas according to package directions.
Fill ORTEGA® taco shells with GORTON’S® Fish Sticks or Tenders, suggested toppings and optional sour cream mixture.

Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp and Ortega Yellow Corn Taco Shells

  • 1 package of GORTON'S® Popcorn Shrimp (14 oz)
  • 1 package (12 ct) ORTEGA® Yellow Corn Taco Shells, warmed

Garnish Suggestions:

  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese
  • ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce
  • ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles

  • 1 package (10 ct) ORTEGA® White Corn Taco Shells, warmed

Suggested Toppings:

  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup cabbage or lettuce, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 11 oz. can corn, drained
  • ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce
  • ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles

While GORTON’S® Seafood is cooking, prepare suggested toppings. Place toppings in individual bowls.

Gorton’s Signature Grilled Tilapia and Ortega Flour Soft Tortillas

  • 2 packages of GORTON’S® Grilled Tilapia (6.3 oz), or GORTON’S® Grilled Salmon (6.3 oz), or GORTON'S® All Natural Grilled Fillets (7.6 oz).  Recommend GORTON’S® Signature Grilled Tilapia
  • 1 package (10 ct) ORTEGA® Flour Soft Tortillas, warmed (can also use 1 package (10 ct) ORTEGA® Whole Wheat Soft Tortillas or 1 package (10 ct) ORTEGA® Whole Grain Corn Taco Shells)

Suggested Toppings:

  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce
  • ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles

Prepare GORTON’S® Grilled Fillets according to package directions.

While GORTON’S® Grilled Fillets are cooking, prepare suggested toppings.

Place toppings in individual bowls.

Warm ORTEGA® taco shells or tortillas according to package directions.

Cut each GORTON’S® Grilled Fillet into 4 strips. Place fillet strips in ORTEGA® taco shells or tortillas and serve with toppings.

Avocado & Mango Lime-Grilled Shrimp Tacos

Gorton’s Classic Grilled Shrimp and Ortega Whole Wheat Soft Tortillas

  • 1 package of GORTON'S® Classic Grilled Shrimp (8.0 oz.)
  • 1 package (10 ct) ORTEGA® Whole Wheat Flour Soft Tortillas, warmed

Suggested Toppings:

  • 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped mango
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped avocado
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1/3 cup chopped scallion
  • 1/4 cup crumbled queso fresco cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ORTEGA® pickled jalapeno slices
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ORTEGA® salsa verde
20 minutes

Prepare GORTON’S® Classic Grilled Shrimp according to package instructions; remove tails and coarsely chop shrimp.

In a large bowl, stir together shrimp and lime zest until well coated. Stir in mango, avocado, corn, scallion, queso fresco, ORTEGA® jalapeno slices and cilantro until combined.

In a small bowl, stir together sour cream and ORTEGA® salsa verde until combined.

Warm ORTEGA® tortillas according to package directions.
Fill ORTEGA® tortillas evenly with shrimp mixture, drizzle with sour cream mixture and serve.
